The Flaming Lips are an American rock band, formed in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1983.
The band is known for their lush, multi-layered, psychedelic arrangements, spacey lyrics and bizarre song and album titles—for example, "Psychiatric Explorations of the Fetus with Needles", "Free Radicals (A Hallucination of the Christmas Skeleton Pleading with a Suicide Bomber)" and "Yeah, I Know It's a Drag... But Wastin' Pigs Is Still Radical". They are also acclaimed for their elaborate live shows, which feature costumes, balloons, puppets, video projections, complex stage light configurations, giant hands, large amounts of confetti, and frontman Wayne Coyne's signature man-sized plastic bubble, in which he traverses the audience. In 2002, Q magazine named The Flaming Lips one of the "50 Bands to See Before You Die".

ANGELS OF BABYLON is a brand new lineup of metal stalwarts featuring former MANOWAR drummer Rhino, Arizona based power-metal vocalist David Fefolt, guitarist Ethan Brosh and Thrash metal bassist David Ellefson. Their forthcoming debut album Kingdom of Evil comprises 10 new original songs, featuring cuts like Conspiracy Theory, Second Coming and Apocalypse 2012.
Rhino states I started compiling these songs many years ago but was patiently waiting for the optimum lineup to record and release an album like this. I was introduced to Fefolt, Ellefson and Brosh a couple years back, and they provided the inspiration to forge ahead and complete the album. I think we have something really special for our fans with this new record.

Fear Factory is an American metal band. Formed in 1989, they have released seven full-length albums and a number of singles and remixes. Over the course of their career they have evolved from a succession of styles, as well as steadily pioneered a combination of the styles death metal, groove metal, thrash metal and industrial metal.The resultant sound proved to be enormously influential on the metal scene from the mid-90s and onwards.Fear Factory disbanded in March 2002 following some internal disputes, but they reformed later that year minus founding member Dino Cazares adding bassist, Byron Stroud, and casting then-bassist Christian Olde Wolbers as guitarist.In April 2009, a new lineup was announced with founding guitarist Cazares returning, and Gene Hoglan being added as drummer. Crematory is a gothic metal/death metal band formed in Mannheim, Germany in 1991.The band received its earliest recognition in the mid-1990s by touring with My Dying Bride, Tiamat and Atrocity.Much like the latter two groups, the band had begun as traditional death metal, then evolved with an industrial music and gothic metal musical direction on later albums. The band would receive heavy rotation on MTV Germany and would also make appearances at various extreme metal festivals, including Germany's Wacken Open Air in the years 1996, 1998, 1999, 2001 and 2008, in addition to inclusion on Nuclear Blast compilation samplers.The band re-signed to Massacre Records in 2006 after a 10 year stint with Nuclear Blast; Massacre had been the band's first label.Active for almost 20 years (with a brief split between 2001 and 2003) they are among one of Europe's longest running bands affiliated with the gothic metal genre.

Kreator is a German thrash metal band from Essen, Germany, formed in 1982. The band started their career under the name Tormentor. They originally performed their type of thrash metal style with Venom influences. The band is also influenced by Metallica, Mercyful Fate, and Bathory. Their style of music is similar to their compatriots Destruction and Sodom, the other two big German thrash metal bands. All three of these bands are often credited with helping pioneer death metal, by containing several elements of what was to become the genre.

Cradle of Filth is an extreme metal band, formed in Suffolk, United Kingdom in 1991. The band consists of Dani Filth (vocals), Paul Allender (guitars), Charles Hedger (guitars), Dave Pybus (bass), Sarah Jezebel Deva (backing vocals), Rosie Smith (keyboards), and Martin Skaroupka (drums).
In 1994, Cradle of Filth was signed to Cacophonous Records, on which they released their first album The Principle of Evil Made Flesh. Cacophonous also pressed the Vempire or Dark Faerytales In Phallustein EP in 1996. After this the band were signed to Music For Nations, for whom they produced three of their most prominent full length CDs to date: Dusk and Her Embrace, Cruelty and the Beast, and Midian. The From the Cradle to Enslave EP and a compilation dubbed Bitter Suites to Succubi also featured many original songs, as well as some covers and re-recordings of old songs.
