Dot[.] is a sludge doom band from japan...
The story of the band kicks off during the summer of '98 when Kohki and Kan started a jam session. By february of next year Ucchy joined-in and the band Dot[.] started formally.
Dot[.] 's first demo tape, "RawHeavyGreen" was released in July 2000 and consisted of a single 25 minute-long track. The band toured excessively during 2001 and 2002 (mainly in japan) and through various split EP's (fistula, H.C. Minds etc.) , their first independent 10 inch ep "Stay Smoke Stay Stone" was finally released in 2003. Since then, Dot[.] have unleashed numerous releases, until the most recent one (split with SU19B) last year. The line-up of the band has gone under several changes, with Kohki being the only stable member. Dot[.] is currently signed at Shifty Recs..,
I'm in love with their guitarist, Rei, as soon as I get the chance I'll ask her to marry me... and live happily ever after...
This post only includes their first demo tape. And as this is sourced from a tape do not expect a sonic masterpiece..,
The rest of their staff sit on my HDD, i'll torrent some more if there's people askin for it..
Before I finished typing I decided to post their latest release as well, a split EP with SU19B.
