/* John Rambo mieszka samotnie w Tajlandii, zajmuje się łapaniem węży i pracą na swojej łodzi. Taki żywot wybrał sobie bohater, unikający ludzi, ceniący proste, spokojne życie. Wkrótce jednak jego znajomość okolicy starają się wykorzystać misjonarze, którzy pragną dostać się do nękanej wojną Birmy, by pomóc miejscowej ludności. Rambo pozbawiony już wiary w ludzi i otaczający świat początkowo odmawia, lecz w końcu daje się przekonać jednej szczególnie zdeterminowanej uczestniczce wyprawy, mimo że nie wierzy, by ich pokojowa działalność miała jakikolwiek sens.
Okazuję się, że racja stoi po jego stronie. Wkrótce zgłasza się do niego pastor kościoła, do którego należą misjonarze, z informacją o porwaniu i prośbą o pomoc. Rambo po raz kolejny udaje się do Birmy, tym razem transportując tam grupę najemników. Jednak rola przewoźnika go nie satysfakcjonuje Rambo przyłącza się do ekipy ratunkowej.
